It's now the month of April, and our clothes are getting lighter thanks to the warm weather. The cherry blossoms that bloomed last month are falling off and the trees are getting greener. We hope that you feel a moment of happiness and calm in the midst of busy life everyday.

Over the past month, the Secretariat has been working with our stakeholders to draft a Concept Note that will become the framework for the Forum. The Final Concept Note and the Official Poster will be shared on our website and social media in May. Starting from this, various events and detailed schedules for the Forum will also be announced.

The Fist and Second International Steering Committee meeting was held

In April, the International Steering Committee had two meetings to finalize the theme of the Forum and to elaborate the content of the Concept Note. The International Steering Committee, which consists of domestic and international co-host and co-organizer officials who are human rights experts, plays an important role in the overall planning and outcomes of the Forum, including confirming the theme, drafting the Concept Note, and writing the Declaration.

At the first meeting, we had constructive discussions based on the draft concept note written by Kim Ki-gon, and the second meeting was held to review the revised concept note. The details of the discussions at each meeting are now available on the website, and the finalized concept note will be posted on the website in the beginning of May.
