United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk delivered the keynote speech at the Opening Ceremony of World Human Rights Cities Forum 2026. In his address, he emphasized the importance of cooperation and solidarity among Human Rights Cities in responding to the global rise of authoritarianism and populism.
