November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, designated by the United Nations. To mark this day, UN Women leads the annual “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign, running from November 25 to December 10.

This year’s theme, “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls,” highlights the growing prevalence of gender-based violence in digital spaces and calls for collective global action to eliminate it.
